The Ecclesia, housing the remains of the church of Saint-Martin, reveals 2,000 years of the history of Luxeuil-les-Bains. This is an exceptional archaeological site on a national scale, due to the concentration of remains, the density of sarcophagi (no fewer than 150!) and their excellent state of preservation. Also noteworthy is the discovery of the crypt of Saint Valbert, a monk and disciple of Saint Columban, founder of Luxeuil Abbey.

In Luxeuil-les-Bains, the heritage trail allows you to discover most of the town's 17 listed monuments, by following the bronze studs along the way. QR codes placed near points of interest can be flashed to provide audio explanations (in German, English, Dutch, Italian and French).

The Fougerolles ecomuseum and distilleries
A museum like no other! In Fougerolles, immerse yourself in the town's past and the daily lives of our ancestors with an immersive, fun museum! Housed in a former distillery and its outbuildings, the museum presents the customs and traditions of yesteryear, as well as the cherry and alcohol production that kept the town alive and kicking in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its conservatory orchard invites you to take a bucolic break during the cherry blossom season in spring.
You can also visit the distilleries in Fougerolles to discover the skills they have inherited from the past and the technical innovations of today, through guided tours and tastings!
La Rochère glassworks has been awarded the Entreprise Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label and is one of the oldest glassworks in France!
Since 1475, it has been producing glassware for the construction and tableware industries. Visit the workshops to admire the work of the glassblowers, and take a break in the Japanese garden next to the buildings!
For a quiet moment in the shade during the summer, enjoy the peace and quiet of the Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert forest and its animal park! 7 species of animal can be seen throughout this nature walk. From April to the end of October, our activity leader offers fun workshops.
