Depending on your level and your desires, hire your two-wheeled vehicle (mountain bike, VTC, VAE) from the region's hire companies and set off to discover the landscapes of the Southern Vosges!
21 cycle routes in the Vosges du Sud!
In the Luxeuil-les-Bains, Vosges du Sud area, which includes 3 communities of communes, there are 3 cycle routes on offer:
- 6 - the glassmakers' loop: 41km between Vauvillers, Passavant la Rochère, Ormoy via Corre and Vougécourt. On this loop, you can see the heritage of the communes such as the wooden covered market halls of Vauvillers, the swing bridge of Selle, the keep of Passavant...
- 11 - The Mont Vaulot loop: Passing through Saulx and Meurcourt before descending to Equevilley and Flagy, this 32km loop offers some great stops to discover the heritage and natural beauty of the Haute Saon region. Take advantage of your stopover at Mailleroncourt Charette to visit the Parc à l'Anglaise de la Cude!
- 14 - The Loop of Waters: Longer at 46km, the Loop of Waters allows you to take in tourist sites such as the Fougerolles Wildlife Park, the Hermitage of Saint-Valbert, the Fougerolles' Ecomuseum, the Furniture Museum and Luxeuil town centre. You'll need much more than a day to visit them all!
In all, there are 21 signposted circuits in the area. Each of these loops has its own paper map, available from the Tourist Office or downloadable below.
