Concert : I Campagnoli
At 8.30pm at St Peter's Basilica.
I Campagnoli is one of the oldest Corsican polyphony groups. Its name means "Men of the earth". Their repertoire includes secular and sacred songs, as well as original works. Its artists perform mainly in churches, where the power of the songs takes on their full dimension. The group was formed in 1989 by a group of young people from the Nebbiu and Bastia regions who were passionate about polyphonic singing.
Over the decades, the group has reinvented itself, focusing on just a few singers and introducing instruments to accompany the purity of the voices.
With I Campagnoli, discover the riches of a land where song is present in every act of life.
