Back in the days of the Gauls and the Romans!
Gauls and Romans welcome you to the Parc Thermal in Luxeuil-les-Bains over the weekend. From the very young to the very old, take part in the various workshops on offer and travel back in time in the company of these passionate re-enactors!

The Gallic village
Step back in time with the Branno Teuta company! Take a tour of their village and discover all aspects of Gaulish life: daily life, crafts (pottery, basketry, blacksmithing...), martial training and combat, not forgetting religion.
The Roman camp
The legionaries of the Legio II Augusta have pitched their tents in Luxeuil and invite you to discover life at the heart of a Roman military camp! The life of a legionnaire, his equipment, his daily life and his combat training will no longer hold any secrets for you.

Sunday

Archaeological digs and fibula-making workshops
The Tourist Office team welcomes you to its stand in the Parc Thermal and invites you to enter the world of archaeology.
Archaeological digs workshop: equipped with the tools of the archaeologist, young apprentices can dig and draw their discoveries. For children aged 6 and over.
Fibula-making workshop: learn how to make a fibula, an ornament widely used by Gauls and Romans alike, and leave with your own creation! From 6 years upwards.
Museums open their doors to you!
The &cclesia, heritage city
Enter the &cclesia and explore an exceptional archaeological site through its 2000 years of history! In 2025, discover the exhibition "20 years ago, excavations began at Place de la République" and relive this scientific and human adventure in the heart of Luxeuil-les-Bains.
Free admission: Saturday from 9.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm (last admission 30 minutes before closing time).
Admission: €4 (of which €3 is donated to the Fondation du patrimoine)
Guided tours: Saturday and Sunday at 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am and 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

The Tower of Aldermen Museum
Open the doors of this historic monument and discover archaeological remains unearthed since the 18th century in the subsoil of Luxovia!
Free admission: Saturday and Sunday, 2pm to 6pm (last admission 30 minutes before closing time)
Guided tour of the "Abbey Treasures" exhibition: Saturday at 2pm and 4pm; Sunday at 10.30am, 2pm and 4pm

History of writing" workshop
Come and discover and try out different writing tools and techniques that have been used over time, from the Roman wax tablet to medieval parchment. Are you ready to write like a monk from Luxeuil Abbey?
