Eau Minérale de Velleminfroy
Discovered in 1828, the Velleminfroy spring quickly gained a reputation for its benefits. Given its success, it was declared a "natural mineral water" by imperial decree of the Académie Impériale de Médecine, under the reign of Napoléon III in 1859. Velleminfroy quickly became a renowned health resort throughout Europe in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
Thanks to its specific mineral composition, Velleminfroy water has a set of characteristics that are not found elsewhere. Calcic and magnesian, Velleminfroy water is also sulphated.
Drinking sulphated water accelerates intestinal transit, and this effect is more effective when the water also contains magnesium.
It's the one and only mineral water from Burgundy Franche-Comté!
