Apéritif du Patrimoine

As part of the European Heritage Days.

In 2025, the Apéritif du Patrimoine will be coordinated by the Maison des Vins & Spiritueux so that it can include all the Houses of its federations (FEVS, UMVIN, FFS, FFVA) to enable the general public to discover the wealth of products and expertise of France's wine and spirits Houses, and their heritage roots.

GUIDED TOUR & COCKTAIL TASTING AT THE PAUL DEVOILLE DISTILLERY

To mark the European Heritage Days, the Distillerie Paul Devoille invites you to take part in the Apéritif du Patrimoine with a guided tour of the distillery followed by a cocktail tasting on Friday 19 September at 3.30pm.

The guided tour of the Paul Devoille distillery takes you through the various stages in the production of eaux de vie and liqueurs, and introduces you to age-old know-how. You will discover in succession :

The distillery: the heart of the distillery, where you can see the copper stills. Relive the art of the distiller: concentrating aromas and flavours in the heat of the stills...

The ageing attics: 3 superb attics housing 1,200 barrels of eau de vie. Calm and serenity reign in this magnificent place. It is here, over the years, that the eaux de vie develop their subtle fragrances and lose their aggressiveness.

The bottling room: Here you'll find the storage tanks for the products ready for bottling. The 2 bottling units work to the rhythm of the orders.

To mark the Apéritif du Patrimoine, the tour will end with a cocktail featuring cherry-based liqueurs, the emblematic fruit of Fougerolles.

No advance booking required. Please arrive at 3.30pm at the Distillerie Paul Devoille shop.
The guided tour and cocktail tasting are free.
Average length of visit + tasting: approx. 1h - 1h30.
70% of the guided tour is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The ageing cellars are on the 1st floor (stairs).
Free on-site parking.
