Tour des Echevins
Built towards the end of the 15th century, the Tour des Echevins is the jewel in the crown of Luxeuil’s architecture. This huge rectangular building rises to 4 storeys, opening onto a beautiful lateral staircase. 146 steps lead upwards to a magnificent view over the Jura and the Alps. This building (a listed building) houses one of the oldest museums in France.

From 23 May to 30 September: Thursday to Monday, 2pm to 6pm. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
From 1st to 27th October: Tuesdays from 2pm to 6pm.
Open for Museums' Night on 23 May 2026, from 4pm to 11pm.
