Théâtre : La maladie de la famille M
A LURE/LUXEUIL PARTNERSHIP. FREE BUS FROM LUXEUIL.
The M family is an ordinary family, made up of Luigi the father, Marta and Maria the two daughters and Gianni the youngest son, who live on the outskirts of a small town.
An old man who forgets, young people who are bored, siblings who grumble, lovers who doubt... We can't live together, nor separate. Or talk to each other, or understand each other. And what's more, it's raining.
Opposite them, the family doctor paints a tender and funny picture of what he calls the "M family illness".
Through rhythmic dialogue, with infinite tenderness, delicate cruelty and devastating humour, Fausto Paravidino paints a portrait of this family of "misfits" and the others who gravitate around them, of their ordinary struggle against boredom and for love.
The show won the Grand Prix du Jury Professionnel, Festival de Nanterre-sur-Scène 2021.
