Théâtre : Boxing shadows
A young woman makes a living stealing in the underground. A local man has his wallet stolen. They live in the same street, in the same building. It's the meeting of a fragile youth in the grip of an aimless revolt and a former boxer turned librarian, prey to loneliness and boredom. A story of transmission. He teaches her how to transform her rage by learning the rules: those of boxing, those of society. It's the story of the rejection and impotent rage of a youth abandoned by the previous generation, who were unable or unwilling to pass it on.
This is a bittersweet comedy where laughter and emotion rub shoulders, reminding us of our strengths and weaknesses.
This dreamlike eight clos is supported by the presence of a singing voice that, on the other side of the mirror, intertwines the strength and power of lyrical song.
