With over a million records sold, Claudio Capéo has become a key figure on the new French music scene.
Revealed in 2016 by his hit "Un homme debout" (diamond single), his eponymous debut album hit No. 1 in the charts on its release for 5 consecutive weeks and sold over 700,000 copies, making it the biggest success for a new artist.
Since then, Claudio Capéo has enjoyed a string of successes: "Ça va ça va" (gold single), "Riche" (gold single), and his duets "Un peu de rêve" with Vitaa (platinum single) and "Que Dieu me pardonne" with Kendji Girac (gold single).
His album "Tant que rien ne m'arrête", certified double platinum, has helped him establish a lasting place on the French music scene, and he was recently voted twenty-first favourite artist of the French (by RIFFX in 2020), appreciated by all generations.
In his single "C'est une chanson", Claudio Capéo confided for the very first time about his Italian origins, returning to the footsteps of his childhood, surrounded by his family, with lyrics ever closer to the heart. Claudio Capéo, with his authentic, distinctive voice, is continuing his dolce vita in 2020 with a Franco-Italian album, "Penso a te", which has already gone platinum.
