Concert deux sacqueboutes et orgue
Three musicians from the Lyon region gather around the organ bench. Claire-Ombeline Muhlmeyer and Vincent Santagiuliana are accompanied on the organ by Benoit Chrétien in a programme based on the composer Johann Rosenmüller's 'Si doux est le tourment'.
Works by Cavalli, Monteverdi, Marini and Legrenzi. All three musicians are graduates of the CNSMD in Lyon.
Claire-Ombeline Muhlmeyer won 1st prize in the British Trombone Society's International Sackbut Competition in Birmingham in 2024. Claire-Ombeline Muhlmeyer is no stranger to the region. She was invited with the Ensemble Les Lunaisiens to the Rendez-vous d'Anjeux in 2024, as well as to the Festival Musique et Mémoire with her ensemble Tumbleweeds. She began her musical studies in her home town of Luxeuil-les-Bains before moving on to the Besançon Conservatoire, where she discovered the sackbut in Noëlle Quartiero's class.
