Domaine des Athénées

Located in Cosne-cours-sur-Loire, the Domaine des Athénées welcomes you for a wine tasting from Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm. A visit to the cellar or a walk through the vineyards are also available by prior arrangement.
Group visits are also possible, subject to prior booking (maximum 25 people).
As a general rule, it's always best to call ahead to make sure the winemaker can accommodate you!
Please note: the estate is closed at weekends and on public holidays.

The Domaine des Athénées cultivates 8.5 hectares of vines and is a major educational and teaching resource for students at the Lycée agricole du lycée viticole de Cosne, who play an active role in the various activities involved in the winegrowing profession. The students even make their own cuvée.
The estate offers several appellations from the Centre Loire: Sancerre and Coteaux du Giennois, as well as sparkling wines produced using the traditional method.
